We also hold refresher courses for technicians wishing to update their skills. All classes are tailored to suit technicians' individual requirements and offered on a 1-2-1 basis.
Our courses are recognised by the GUILD OF PROFFESIONAL BEAUTY THERAPIST. Any person who complete the training course can apply for full guild memberships. (This inculdes insurance cover for $2 million of treatment and public and product liability cover.)

THREADING
Threading explains the real meaning of ancient style of hair removal. Threading means the removal of unwanted hair with cotton thread. What is called plucking is the same threading. Traditionally,threading was executed at home but now it is widely performed in the salon.
Threading has to be performed with sturdy hands and with control therefore you are advised to always work with confident and positive thinking. You must also be prepared to practice as much as you can as one cannot attain control of your fingers with just one practice.
THE SKIN: The skin is shield that protects you from the outside world and it also reflects your total health. It provides a contianer for the rest of the body and is involed through the nerves, touch, temperature change and other sensations such as itching and pain. This means the removal of hair will give pain, so you have to bear in mind to explain to the customer about the pain and what the treatment will feel like. You must reassure the client the pain will only last for just a few minutes.
Threading can be done on any part of the body e.g. lip, chin, jaw line, underarm and bikini, Care must be taken when doing the eyebrow as women are very particular about their eyebrow.
